 Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed, unfocussed and at odds with the world we live in?
Do you yearn for a simple and more meaningful way of life that brings you the joy you deserve?

It’s natural to feel a sense of disconnect with ourselves and our world at one time or another. The question is at these times, how do we choose to reconnect and maintain a deep sense of well-being. Many people feel more relaxed when they are in nature and there are reasons for this.

Reclaim your Nature is an interactive workshop which draws inspiration from nature and focuses on the natural breath, connection to our five senses and deeper wisdom of the body to bring about insights into our inner core and to inform us how to nurture our true self. 

In the Reclaim your Nature; awaken your senses workshop, you will be given the opportunity to:

  • Slow down and relax in a comfortable safe space

  • Explore how you interact with and respond to nature and how you can draw inspiration from it

  • Embrace your own nature through your five senses of sight, smell, taste, touch and sound

  • Become aware of how your senses help you perceive your world

  • Experience and express yourself spontaneously and authentically through body movement.

  • Engage in activities with both presenters and participants

  • Experience simple tools that help free you from sensory overload and support you going forward 

This workshop by Nirmala Seshadri and Melanie Kulkarni is brought to you by Antarika Pte Ltd and Pure Health.

It is interactive and will involve gentle movement exercises, and is designed to be fun and rewarding.


MELANIE KULKARNI is a naturopath registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). She enjoys helping others find improved health and vigour, as well as a deep sense of well-being through positive lifestyle changes, which includes healthy eating and exercise, supported by herbal medicine, flower essences, natural supplements and reflexology. Her mission is to inspire and empower others to take care of themselves in a truly holistic way.

NIRMALA SESHADRI is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, movement educator, researcher and writer. An exponent of Yoga, the Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam as well as the Japanese dance theatre form Butoh, she began developing the therapeutic movement system ANTARIKA as a tool for inner & outer harmony, self-awareness, expression and transformation. Believing Dance exists as a fundamental urge in human beings, she reaches out to the community through special events, site specific work and through ANTARIKA that nurtures creative movement regardless of age, background or body condition. She holds a Masters degree in Dance Anthropology from the University of Roehampton, London.
