What you will learn and experience:

·       Overview of the changes happening in your body.

·       Natural healing remedies and tools to cope with and manage the major symptoms associated with these changes.

·       Foster community and connection.

·       Escape the confines of the “Menopause” label and connect with a deeper sense of your self. 

·       Exercises and dance movements to get back to your natural rhythm.

This workshop is 4 hours long with scheduled breaks. It is practical in nature and involves gentle movements, stretches and some yoga poses so please come in loose comfortable clothing.

ABOUT YOUR PRESENTERS ~ NIRMALA SESHADRI & MELANIE KULKARNI

NIRMALA SESHADRI is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, movement educator, researcher and writer. An exponent of Yoga, the Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam as well as the Japanese dance theatre form Butoh, she began developing the therapeutic movement system ANTARIKA as a tool for inner & outer harmony, self-awareness, expression and transformation. Believing Dance exists as a fundamental urge in human beings, she reaches out to the community through special events, site specific work and through ANTARIKA that nurtures creative movement regardless of age, background or body condition. She holds a Masters degree in Dance Anthropology  from the University of Roehampton, London.

MELANIE KULKARNI is a Naturopath registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). She enjoys helping others find improved health and vigour, as well as a deep sense of well-being through positive lifestyle changes, which includes healthy eating and exercise, supported by herbal medicine, flower essences, natural supplements and reflexology. Her mission is to inspire and empower others to take care of themselves in a truly holistic way.
